With more companies setting mandates on their return to work policies, Courtney Utsey, Barbara Donnelly, Joseph Arquillo, and Paul Carelis will delve into the evolving landscape of workforce structures, examining why and how organizations transition between different formats and the impact of these changes on employees and operations. They will specifically explore:

  • How startups decide where and how people work

  • The “why” behind transitions from one workforce format to another

  • The “return to work” trends and how this has played out in startups going from virtual to a setup with increased face-time

  • The benefits of different in-person, virtual, and hybrid models

By the end of this session, you will understand the benefits and challenges of various workforce models, enabling you to make informed decisions for your startup.

In this session, you’ll get the right questions and techniques to ensure a strong, aligned partnership between the CEO and HR leader.

Ensuring alignment between a CEO and HR leader is crucial for driving a cohesive vision and successful organizational outcomes. This session will focus on the essential questions HR leaders should ask during the interview process to gauge fit and shared vision with the CEO.

You will hear from the panel some of the questions an HR leader should ask a CEO during the interview process to gauge if there is a fit and how to effectively inquire about the CEO's vision for the company and evaluate alignment with HR goals and values.
